Academic Program
Full-time students typically take around 16-20 credits per semester. One academic lecture hour (50 minutes) equals 1 credit point. Courses are given at the second, third and fourth year undergraduate levels. Some include off-site activities as well as business and industry site visits.

Each semester is comprised of 14 weeks of teaching, followed by a 2 week exam period.
Choose from 1 or 2 Semesters:
Winter Semester: October – February
Spring Semester: March – July

Please note that even though full time load for Technion students is 60 hours a week,Technion do not allow visiting international students to study during one semester more than a maximum of 4 Technical courses and 2 general courses. Actual student programs may be lighter depending on the course requirements. This rule is because teaching at the Technion- except for special program – is in Hebrew, and taking classes in Hebrew poses special challenges to international students, even if the students have some background in Hebrew.

Housing
International students may request on-campus housing on our vibrant Haifa campus in modern student dorms, which include flats of 5 bedrooms and a shared kitchen and bathroom. Bedrooms are equipped with a bed, a closet and a desk. No linen or kitchenware is provided. Dorm rooms are limited and must be arranged at least three months in advance through the International School. On-Campus housing is not guaranteed but all students accepted to the program may apply.
* See Tuition table in admission tab or details regarding rent.

On campus you’ll have access to a wide range of sports facilities (including an Olympic sized pool), and participate in social and cultural programs, lectures and trips to enrich your study abroad experience.
