Why study at Sussex?

The University of Sussex is on the seaside near the city of Brighton, less than an hour from London. Its convenient location and efficient transportation system allows for great travel opportunities. Brighton also offers a diverse cultural life, a thriving music scene, great nightlife, and is home to England’s biggest arts festival.

The Sussex exchange program was created specifically for Brain and Cognitive Science students, so you can stay on track.

Housing:
On- and off-campus University-managed housing is available.


Program Costs:
You will be billed for UR tuition by the UR Bursar.  If you secure on campus housing, you will be charged by the University of Sussex.  Board, airfare, and personal expenses are separate, but any UR aid you receive applies towards these costs.  See your financial aid counselor for information about scholarships and other aid. 
Note: You are automatically eligible for a $2,000 per semester exchange grant.
