Program Description:
Bristol

Why Study at Bristol?
The University of Bristol is located in southwest England, about two hours by train from London. Bristol is a vibrant city, famous for its music scene and street art. The city is filled with shops, cafes, restaurants and entertainment options. The University of Bristol has a global reputation and attracts students from all over the world, creating a rich and exciting international community. The campus is located a short distance from the Bristol Channel.  Classes are held on the beautiful Clifton campus.

Academics:
Top areas of study are: English Literature, History, Politics, Sciences and Engineering. 
60 Bristol credits = 16 UR credits.

Housing:
On campus housing available. Residence halls are spread across the city, giving a wide variety of choice.

Program Costs: 
You will be billed for UR tuition by the UR Bursar.  You will be charged for housing costs by the University of Bristol.  Meals, airfare, and personal expenses are separate; any UR aid you receive applies towards these costs.  Meet with your financial aid counselor for information about scholarships and other aid.  Note: You are automatically eligible for a $2,000 per semester exchange grant.

Semester dates:
Fall:  late September – December
Spring:  late January – mid- June
Note that Chemistry is a full-year subject only.
